Jennifer Andrews DesRCA

Jennifer trained at Oxford School of Art and the Royal College.

The artist uses various media. Watercolour is usually combined with ink or pencil line. She has developed her own style of sepia ink and watercolour work, drawing first with a flexible nib, then overlaying the waterproof ink line with clear colours. These paintings are made on off-white, hot pressed paper. In a few less detailed works, Fount India ink combines in its own way with watercolour. The gouache paintings show, again, an individual approach to the medium and the artist enjoys using a variety of tinted and textured papers.

Some favourite subjects are captured in a range of Giclee digital prints and greetings cards.

Jennifer runs courses on 'Painting Flowers' and 'Sketching and Painting in a Suffolk Garden' at Flatford Mill Field Centre.
